Bishop Ottawa R. Pullen, Jr.
Senior Pastor

Ottawa R. Pullen, Jr., the son of Rev. Ottawa R. Pullen,Sr. and Evelyn Naomi Scott Pullen, was born August the 28th 1942, in Roanoke, VA.

From the beginning it was apparent that young Ottawa had a calling upon his life.  At birth, he was healthy; but at the age of 21 months he suddenly became extremely ill and overnight was paralyzed from his neck down.  His body was totally deformed.  After several operations, young Ottawa was sent home to die. Knowing nothing else to do but to pray, his family sought God continuously for his healing.  By the time that Ottawa was four years old, God had begun to answer the prayers of his family; for by then, he had regained movement in his body from his neck down to his waist.  He was able to walk with the assistance of braces and crutches.  Early one morning, when he was still only four years old, young Ottawa saw a brilliant light ascend the stairs at his home.  The light settled at the foot of his bed and from that light emerged our Lord and Savior, Jesus.  Jesus said nothing.  But the next morning, Ottawa was able to walk without his crutches.  The validity of this testimony is verified by notarized written statement from Ottawa's mother.

Although Jesus did not speak to Ottawa when He first appeared to him, on subsequent occasions when doctors were saying that his asthmatic condition would not allow him to live, Ottawa began to plainly hear the voice of the Lord speak to him saying, “My son, you will live and not die.”

These are but a few of the occurrences in Ottawa’s life that substantiate the fact that God has a calling upon him.
